Getting Started
How do I create my first bar?
After signing up and verifying your email, you'll be prompted to create your first bar. Simply:
- Give your bar a name (e.g., "Dan's Home Bar" or "The Garage Pub")
- Select your currency for drink prices
- Click "Create Bar"
You can create multiple bars if you have different venues or want to separate events.
How do I add drinks to my menu?
From your dashboard, click "Drinks" in the navigation, then "Add Drink". For each drink, enter:
- Name: What guests will see (e.g., "IPA", "House Red")
- Price: The cost per serving
- Colour: Pick a colour for the drink badge
If you have Premium and use keg tracking, you can also set the serving size to track keg levels automatically.
How do I add guests?
Go to "Guests" from your dashboard and click "Add Guest". Enter each guest's name.
Free accounts can have up to 4 guests per bar. Premium accounts have unlimited guests.
Guests don't need their own accounts - they just tap their name in kiosk mode to log drinks.
How do I start a session?
A session represents one drinking event (e.g., Saturday night drinks, a birthday party).
- From your dashboard, click "Start Session"
- Give it a name (optional)
- Select which drinks are available
- Click "Start Session"
Once active, guests can log drinks via the kiosk, and you'll see the scoreboard update in real-time.
Kiosk Mode
What is kiosk mode?
Kiosk mode is a simplified interface designed for guests to log their own drinks. Instead of you tracking every drink, guests tap their name, tap what they're drinking, and they're done.
It's perfect for placing on a tablet or old phone at your bar, so guests can self-serve without needing to log in or create an account.
Can guests log drinks without logging in?
Yes! That's the whole point of the kiosk. When guests visit the kiosk link, they simply:
- Tap their name
- Tap the drink they're having
- Done!
No accounts, no passwords, no app downloads. Just quick, easy drink logging.
How do I set up a tablet as a kiosk?
For the best kiosk experience:
- Open the kiosk link in Safari or Chrome on your tablet
- Add to home screen for a full-screen app-like experience
- Enable "Guided Access" (iOS) or "Screen Pinning" (Android) to lock the tablet to the kiosk
- Place the tablet at your bar where guests can easily reach it
Consider using a tablet stand and keeping it plugged in during sessions.
Scoreboard & Sessions
How does the scoreboard work?
The scoreboard shows a live leaderboard of who's had the most drinks during the current session. It updates automatically as guests log drinks.
Premium users also see:
- Fire effects for guests on a drinking streak
- Milestone badges (5, 10, 15+ drinks)
- Crown icon for the current leader
It adds a fun competitive element to your party!
How do I display the scoreboard on my TV?
To cast the scoreboard to your TV:
- Open the public scoreboard link on a device connected to your TV (Chromecast, Apple TV, smart TV browser, or HDMI-connected laptop)
- The scoreboard will auto-refresh to show live updates
For Chromecast: Open the scoreboard in Chrome, click the menu, and select "Cast".
How do I end a session?
From your dashboard, click "End Session". This will:
- Stop accepting new drink logs
- Save all session data
- Send you a session summary email
- Make the "Settle Up" page available
You can end and start new sessions any time - your historical data is preserved.
What happens to my data after a session?
All your session data is saved and accessible in Session History. You can:
- View past session summaries
- See the Settle Up page for each session
- Export data (Premium feature)
Free accounts can access the last 3 sessions. Premium accounts have unlimited history.

The export includes all your bars, drinks, guests, sessions, and consumption logs.
